1. Introduction Welcome to Josie G (MJG Management, LLC) ("we," "our," "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website [www.josiegmusic.com] (the "Site"), including all services offered on the Site, such as recording services and music consultation (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Site, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Site or the Services.
2. Services Provided We offer the following services:
Recording Services: Professional audio recording services for music, podcasts, and other audio-related content.
Consultation Services & Lessons: Personalized advice and guidance related to music production, composition, vocal instruction, music theory, marketing, and other music-related services.
3. User Responsibilities
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use our services.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking services.
You are responsible for ensuring that the content you submit for recording or consultation complies with all applicable laws and does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
4. Payment Terms
All Services must be paid for in advance unless otherwise specified.
Prices for our Services will be outlined on the Site or agreed upon in writing before service provision.
Payments are processed via [Paypal & Square] and are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective payment processor.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before a scheduled service will receive a full refund.
Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled date will only receive 50% refund (deposits are non-refundable).
No refunds will be issued for completed sessions or after 1 hour of consultation.
6. Intellectual Property
All content created during the provision of our Services, including recordings, audio files, and written materials, remain the property of www.josiegmusic.com until paid for in full, at which point rights to the content may be transferred to the customer.
You retain ownership of any original materials you provide for recording. However, by submitting your content, you grant us a license to use, modify, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of performing the Services.
7. User Content
You are solely responsible for all content you upload, submit, or share on the Site, including any audio files, lyrics, or artwork.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our policies or is deemed offensive, illegal, or harmful.
8. Confidentiality
We will maintain the confidentiality of all materials, information, and content you share with us during consultations and recordings.
We will not disclose any confidential information without your consent, except as required by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services.
Our liability for direct damages is limited to the amount paid for the specific Service in question.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Site and Services if you violate these Terms or engage in illegal, unethical, or inappropriate conduct.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update or revise these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Michigan. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Michigan.
